Many head parts are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry and the full use of titanium results in a weight saving of 3.8kg, which is 28% lighter than the original equivalent.
• Quarter-length tuned resonators plus catalytic converters ensure sound quality and the absence of distortion or unwanted frequencies, creating a unique sound experience. The combination of the Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line and the Evolution Header Set, developed for use on closed-course racing circuits only, provides increases of 16.6 kW (22.6 PS) in power at 4,550 rpm and 35.2 Nm in torque at 4,500 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche 911 GT3 992 with a standard exhaust.
• This system is designed for use on closed-course racing circuits only because it is a racetrack-oriented part.
• The Slip-On Race Line + Slip-On Race Line Adapter Set exhaust system does not require ECU remapping.
• When installing the Evolution Header Set on vehicles with particulate filters, it is mandatory to remap the ECU to avoid possible "check engine light" warning signals.
• When installing the Evolution Header Set on vehicles without particulate filters, it is recommended to reassign the ECU.
