Please note that the 12-color RGB LED ambient lighting kit for Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé C117 Facelift (2016-2018) and Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake X117 Facelift (2016-2018) models with NTG 5.0 operating system, which do not have 12-color ambient lighting as standard, requires OBD II coding to activate the ambient lighting menu on the vehicle's original display. Once the 12-color RGB LED ambient lighting kit is installed in the vehicle, you must activate the 12-color ambient lighting menu on the vehicle's original display. This activation is necessary to control the 12-color RGB LED ambient lighting from the vehicle's original display. To do this, connect the included OBD II coding tool to the vehicle's OBD II port and follow the provided steps to activate the ambient lighting menu on the vehicle's original display.

The 12-color RGB LED ambient lighting system features a plug-and-play installation. The air ducts are designed with the same dimensions and mounting points as the vehicle's original air ducts. Therefore, you only need to remove the original air ducts and install the new RGB LED-lit air ducts.
The connectors with integrated RGB LED lighting are specifically designed to replace the vehicle's original connectors with standard lighting.
