- The retractable electric side steps are designed with specific measurements for the versions of Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 (2014-2019) and Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 Facelift (2020-2023) with a long wheelbase of 3430mm ( LWB). However, these electric retractable side steps are not suitable for the versions of Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 (2014-2019) and Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 Facelift (2020-2023) with a short wheelbase of 3200mm (SWB). /li>
- The side steps measure 12 cm wide and 260 cm long.
- The supply includes the motors and modules for the retractable electric side footrests for their correct operation.
- Please note that the installation of the retractable electric side steps requires connecting the modules to the CAN-BUS line of the vehicle for correct operation when opening and closing the vehicle doors. In some vehicle models, the connection is made directly to the vehicle's OBD or to the vehicle's door switch. These works must be carried out by a workshop specialized in automotive electricity to solve any errors in the operation of the new retractable electric side steps.
- The power retractable side step control modules will eject the side step on the side the door is opened.
- Please note that, the electric retractable footpegs are not suitable for Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 (2014-2019) and Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 Facelift (2020-2023) versions with 3430mm long wheelbase (LWB) equipped with fixed side pegs installed. To install the new power retractable side steps on these versions, you will need to uninstall the fixed side steps before installing the new power retractable side steps on the vehicle.
- For this vehicle model, retractable electric side steps equipped with LED light are available to illuminate the entry and exit of the vehicle in situations with poor visibility. These retractable electric side footpegs with LED lighting have an APP from which you can change the color of the LED lighting on the side footpegs, as well as other functions available in the same APP.
