The short electric retractable side steps are specifically designed for the versions of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG W463A / W464 Facelift (2018-2024). Because the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG W463A / W464 Facelift versions (2018-2024) are equipped with the exhaust system with side outlets, the standard electric retractable side steps are not suitable for these versions. The versions of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463A / W464 Facelift (2018-2024) equipped with the modified exhaust system with side exhaust outlets are also suitable for these short electric retractable side steps.
The motors and modules for the retractable electric side steps are included in the supply for their correct operation.
Please note that the installation of the retractable electric side steps requires connecting the modules to the vehicle's CAN-BUS line for correct operation when opening and closing the vehicle doors. In some vehicle models, the connection is made directly to the vehicle's OBD or to the vehicle's door switch. These works must be carried out by a workshop specialized in automotive electricity to solve any errors in the operation of the new retractable electric side steps.
The power retractable side step control modules will eject the side step on the side the door is opened.
The short electric retractable side steps are approximately 120 cm long.
