The side steps make getting in and out of the vehicle easier. The rubber grips on the side steps improve traction, for safer passage even in inclement weather.
Please note that these side steps are only suitable for BMW X5 SUV F15 (2013-2018) models equipped with the Standard exterior package. If your vehicle is equipped with the M-Tech exterior package, these side steps will not fit. These side steps are also not suitable for the original BMW X5 M SUV F85 (2014-2019) models.
